I’ve been thinking about blogging for a while now but have always thought ‘what would I write about?’ and ‘who would even want to read it?’ But then I got into Pinterest and realised that with my job (as a curate in a team of churches in South Wales) I do actually get to do some quite exciting stuff. So the idea of this blog is to share what I’ve been doing. Things that have worked, things that haven’t, bits of crafts that I’ve got excited about. Having recently helped my other half move house I’ve also discovered that I love home stuff, particularly making kids feel at home, so if I ever try anything at home that I get excited about then that will go on here as well. I love to bake, I don’t get to very often or I would end up massive, but when I do I end up trying new things and wanting to share them, hence the cakes in the title. Stuff about my job and my faith are likely to sneak in every now and then as well.
So if you’re interested in being crafty, both at home or if you’re involved with kids activities then I’m hoping this will be of some help. If like me you hate mess and want to make a home as organised as possible while juggling other people who are messy, then stick around because I might need your help! Or if you just want to know what it’s like to be a curate or to be involved with youth ministry then I hope this will have some value to you. I’m very new to the world of blogging so bear with me as I begin to find my feet, and don’t give up on me if I go quiet every now and then. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or comments about anything I post, I love to hear from people.
Anyway, I think that’s the basics covered. Bye for now!
